Several
academic and pharmaceutical research projects are underway, including expanded population
statistical analysis and the development of assays for other genes. Further projects
include:
- PTC Therapeutics – Ambry selected as reference lab in protocol for an FDA study proposal evaluating innovative therapies for Cystic Fibrosis.
- Altus Pharmaceuticals – Ambry named as testing lab in a clinical trial to study a new treatment for exocrine pancreatic enzyme insufficiency in patients suffering from Cystic Fibrosis.
Human Reproduction 2004 – Publication in conjunction with UCSF of pivotal research on men with known chronic bilateral agenesis of vas deferens substantiating Ambry Genetics technology.
