Phenotype is not Always a Positive Predictor of Detection Rate in Epilepsy Panels
This paper shows that phenotype may not be a good positive predictor of detection rate in epilepsy panels while also demonstrating the utility of panel testing for individuals with broad spectrum epilepsy phenotypes.
The overall diagnostic rate for EpiFirst panels was 32% (n=31) and for EpilepsyNext panels was 19% (n=135).
