[Genetics 101] I Have My Patient’s Genetic Testing Results. What Do I Do Now?

Ginger Haynes is a Senior Manager of Genetic Specialists at Ambry Genetics. In this role she leads a team of genetic experts as they assist in sales, client support and research. Prior to joining Ambry Ms. Haynes practiced as a clinical genetic counselor at Denver Health, the public safety net hospital in Colorado. She received her BS in Anthropology from University of California, Santa Barbara and her MS in Genetic Counseling from California State University Northridge. Ms. Haynes also holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Regis University. Her current research interest is in RNA functional studies in variant classification of alterations in hereditary cancer predisposition genes. 

Tameron joined Ambry Genetics as an Oncology Genetic Specialist in 2016. She completed her Bachelor of Science from Lipscomb University with a dual major in biology and psychology. After working in the biotech field for several years, Tameron returned to school at Vanderbilt University for her Master of Science in Nursing. She spent the next 15+ years working in the field of oncology where her past work in genotyping led to a strong interest in inherited cancer syndromes. She has completed the City of Hope Intensive Course in Cancer Risk Assessment in order to expand her genetics knowledge enabling her to be a resource for providers who wish to provide genetic education and testing to their patients.
