This is a rebroadcasting of a previously held EducateNext session followed by a live Q&A with the speaker. Rebroadcasted webinars will not be eligible for CEU credits.
This webinar will cover the developments in clinical genetic testing leading to RNA genetic testing and the relevant technological background.
The molecular biology of RNA splicing that underpins the functional information offered by RNA will be discussed. A targeted and scalable approach to RNA genetic testing in 18 tumor suppressor genes will be described.
The results of this approach in a pilot cohort yielded a relative percent increase in the diagnostic yield, and case studies will be presented that illustrate how RNA contributes to such an increase.
